Over the last nearly four years, Trustee Meghan Raehll has delivered on key priorities that include: leading in fiscal responsibility and zoning; upgrading the township website and facilities; supporting parks, trails, and recreation; focusing on increased communication, collaboration, and government transparency. Her record reflects a commitment to follow through on what was promised and, when re-elected, will continue to work hard for residents.
Fiscal Focus

Led efforts to secure Berlin Township's financial future through implementing key economic growth tools that can create millions of dollars in commercial tax generation for infrastructure and safety as development occurs.

Vetted each major project to ensure the highest quality at the best price.

Maintained balanced budgets and coordinated with roads and other committees to keep additional levies off the ballot.
Communication & Branding

Created Berlin Township YouTube Page.

Redesigned the township website to make more accessible and translate into over 200 languages.

Zoning Updates

Worked with Berlin Zoning Commission and staff to provide resident-friendly updates to the Comprehensive Land-Use Plan and Zoning Resolution.

Created application process for Berlin Business Park and established the Architectural Review Board (ARB).

Oversaw implementation of new zoning software to store and manage critical zoning information (e.g., permits, violations) electronically.

Voted in alignment with the updated Comprehensive Land-Use plan.

Connected Community: Parks and Trails Support

Established Berlin Township's FIRST Parks and Trails Advisory Committee in 2022.

Supported grant work to secure Ohio Department of Transportation Safe Routes to Schools funding.

Collaborated with Orange Township to promote safe walkability along Shannahan Rd at no additonal cost to residents.
